Creating a new reservation in Eventlin is designed to be quick and intuitive.
From the Reservation Book, simply tap New reservation or the + button to start. You’ll enter the guest details, date, time and party size, and Eventlin will guide you through the rest. This ensures every booking is recorded clearly from the first contact, giving your team accurate information and a smooth starting point for table planning and service.
In this step, you define who the guest is and how the reservation was received.
The Merchant field indicates the source of the reservation. This helps you track where bookings are coming from and how guests prefer to contact you. For example, select Public phone if the reservation was taken by phone, or Viber if it came through a Viber message. This information is useful for internal organization, reporting, and understanding your most active communication channels.
Below, you enter the guest details. If the guest prefers not to share personal information, you can mark them as an Anonymous guest. Otherwise, adding a name and contact details ensures clear communication and smoother service on arrival.
Use Arrival time to select when the guest is expected to arrive and Stay duration to set how long the table should be reserved for.
When you open either field, Eventlin shows a list of time options, and the yellow highlight marks the option that is currently selected. Tap a different time to update it—Eventlin will immediately apply the new selection.

Use the Status field to define where the reservation is in its lifecycle. When you open the list, the yellow highlight shows the current status. This allows you to quickly update the reservation as it moves from Active, to Arrived, Done, or other outcomes, keeping your Reservation Book accurate and up to date.
The Offer field links the reservation to a specific offer or event. The yellow highlight indicates the selected option, such as a standard table booking or a special event. This helps you clearly distinguish regular reservations from event-based or promotional bookings at a glance.

Anonymous guest
Turn this on when the guest does not wish to share personal details. Eventlin will record the reservation without name or contact information, keeping only the essential booking data.
Company
Turn this on when the reservation is made on behalf of a company. Additional fields appear so you can enter company details, which is useful for business bookings, invoicing, and internal tracking.

After entering the details, tap Save to confirm the reservation.
Once saved, the booking immediately appears in the Reservation Book, showing the arrival time, guest name, number of guests, and assigned table. This lets your team see the reservation at a glance and manage the day’s service in real time.
