Managing Reservation Status & Modifying Reservations!

Modified on Sun, 3 May at 9:49 AM

Every reservation status change in Eventlin starts with selecting the reservation.

From the Plan view, the host or manager clicks directly on the reservation in the timeline or floor plan. This immediately opens the Reservation Information panel, where all key details are visible in one place: guest name, party size, table assignment, notes, source, timing, and current status.

This ensures the team always acts on the correct reservation, with full context, before making any status change.

Once the reservation is opened, the status can be updated directly inside the Reservation Information panel.

The host selects the appropriate value from the Status dropdown (for example: Arrived), reflecting the real-world moment when the guest shows up. With one action, the reservation is instantly updated across the system - the timeline, floor plan, and availability logic all adjust in real time.

This turns a static booking into a live operational signal, ensuring tables, staff, and future reservations are managed based on what is actually happening on the floor.

MODIFYING RESERVATIONS

Once the reservation is open, staff can quickly adjust key details in one place - guest count, arrival time, stay duration, table, notes, or status. Changes are saved instantly and reflected across the floor plan and availability in real time, ensuring the operation stays aligned with what’s happening on the floor.
